always with us

Proverbs 3:3
Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart

Joshua 1:5
No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you.

Deuteronomy 31:8
The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”

Deuteronomy 31:6
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”

Hebrews 13:5
Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said,“Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”

Psalm 73:23
Yet I am always with you; you hold me by my right hand.

Psalm 40:11
Do not withhold your mercy from me, Lord; may your love and faithfulness always protect me.

I hope this encourages more than just me! I am leaving early Sunday morning. Do not withhold your mercy from me, Lord; may your love and faithfulness always protect me.

leaving soon!

I will be leaving right around the beginning of March--(for all those of you who keep asking since you just can't wait to get rid of me!) It was in the plans before for me to literally leave beginning of February and spend the entire semester there. I don't even know why I am still here, really..

I am applying for my Chinese Visa a little late, meaning tomorrow, so that means It will come in about 9 or so days. And after that, hopefully I will be on my way! to CHINA!

If you were wondering, I have been to China before, but never to Chengdu. On the way back from Cambodia we spent a week or so in Beijing, which was super fun. I just remember these awesome, cheap popsicles that we ate all the time on the streets. No idea what was in them, though. Kidding though, I do...remember..more than just popsicles....Also, I am learning Mandarin for those of you who were wondering that, as well. Every day at school during block 2 I am trying to speak it. Trying really hard. I never expected it to be so hard! I can speak a lot of Khmer and French, and learning Chinese is just throwing me off big time. I have a great teacher though and what I'm learning is going to be really beneficial there.

Aaannyywaaays, I hope you enjoy this blog for the next couple months! Hopefully being in China by myself, hardly knowing the language, and being in an entire school full of Chinese people will keep things a little interesting. ;)
